What Do You Call It?

Many times we use a specific brand name when referencing a product, such as Kleenex for tissue, Xerox for photocopy, etc. Seems some people, with a little too much time of their hands, have done a study of the great “Pop vs. Soda” debate. Here is a map displaying what term is used throughout the country, on a county basis. Check it out:

I, for one, call it a “Coke,” mostly likely since my aunt works for Coca-Cola and I was raised with only Cokes in the house. What about you? Vote below:

I am suprised how much of KY actually is coke. Though the Eastern side does not suprise me one bit. I too grew up calling it coke though my mom drank pepsi all the time. :-)

Oh, no! Pop’s starting to run away with the lead. Come on, Coke people, I know you’re out there. The map says so!
